Orton-Gillingham Practitioner training at REACH includes over 60 additional training hours beyond Foundations coursework, designed to prepare educators to begin providing clinical support in a 1 on 1 environment using the Orton-Gillingham approach. This is fully accredited coursework and thus includes assignments and testing for course completion. Materials package and access to our online pre-study and course information will be sent out approximately one month prior to the first synchronous class.  Pre-course work must be completed before the first day of class and includes about 20 hours of readings and material preparations. Online support content helps trainees access study aids and materials throughout their coursework. Successful OGP trainees may register for our practicum after coursework. Completion of a supervised practicum program is required for professional certification with OG Canada.

** Our courses are popular and often fill quickly. If you choose to waitlist for a seat, please note that you are not guaranteed a seat in that course, and your waitlist is only for that session. On the rare occasion that a registered person withdraws or moves with enough time for another person to receive materials and prepare for the course, then we will manually connect with the next person on the waitlist.
We do not automatically move someone from one waitlist to another. If you want to join us, be sure to register for a course with a seat available. If you’ve been waitlisted for an earlier course and a seat happens to become available in that earlier course, we can move your completed registration to that earlier course. Please be aware that when you are waitlisted, we do not reach out to you unless a spot opens up. **
